Deichmann business in Romania, approx. 30% increase
German shoes retailer Deichmann sold last year in Romania 2.33 million pairs of shoes, with a gross turnover of EUR 49.2 million, 29% bigger than in 2011, the company announces.
In 2011, Deichmann Romania had a turnover of 169.26 million lei and sold 1.9 million pairs of shoes, according to Mediafax.
Deichmann is present in Romania since 2007 with a network of 55 shops at the end of last year, with seven shops bigger than in 2011. The number of its employees also increased to 456 comparing to 359 in the previous year.
Deichmann is a multi-brand store present in 21 European countries and in USA, with business of EUR 3.9 billion last year and over 3,325 units. This year, the company is celebrating its 100th anniversary. (source: wall-street.ro)
