At the same time, the company’s net profit decreased with a third, down to 0.9 million lei (EUR 0.2 million), shows the data published on the Ministry of Finance website.

The company Straco Grup, which became in 2012 the largest Romanian owned constructor considering the turnover, had last year an average of 587 employees, with nearly 230 less than in the previous year.

The personnel decreased due to the fact that the constructor completed last year two large projects carried along with other construction companies, the highways Deva-Orăştie and Orăştie-Sibiu (2nd segment), with a total contractual value of nearly EUR 300 million. (source: zf.ro)
