September’s construction volumes increase in gross series was brought on by new construction works (up 16.7 percent), maintenance and current repairs works (up 13.2 percent) and capital repairs works (up 1.6 percent).
By construction objects there were rises of 20.6 percent in non‐residential buildings, of 15.8 percent in residential buildings and of 10.3 percent in engineering works.
Rises in adjusted series were supported by a 4.2 percent increase in new construction works. There were drops in maintenance and current repairs works and in capital repairs works of 1.8 percent and of 0.4 percent, respectively.
By construction objects, there were rises in non‐residential buildings of 7.3 percent, while residential buildings and in engineering works saw 6.2 percent and of 0.9 percent drops.
Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the volume of construction works increased both as gross series (4.4 percent) and as adjusted series by the number of working days and by seasonality (4.0 percent).
By structure elements there were rises in gross series as follows: in capital repairs works and in maintenance and current repairs works of 17.8 percent and of 12.6 percent, respectively. There were drops in the new construction works of 0.5 percent.
By construction objects, the volume of the construction works increased in engineering works by 19.1 percent. There were drops in residential buildings and in non‐residential buildings of 12.2 percent and of 11.1 percent, respectively.
By structure elements there were rises in adjusted series as follows: in capital repairs works and in maintenance and current repairs works of 20.7 percent and of 11.3 percent, respectively. There were drops in the new construction works of 1.2 percent.
By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased in engineering works by 14.0 percent. There were drops in non‐residential buildings and in residential buildings of 9.7 percent and of 8.1 percent, respectively.
During the first nine months of the year the volume of construction works increased year on year by 9.9 percent (gross series) and 10.5 percent (adjusted series).
