"On structure elements there was a 17.5% decrease of the new construction works. There were registered increases for the capital works repairs (+32.7%) and for the maintenance and current repairs (+9.7%). The volume of construction works has increased for the residential buildings with 0.9%, while the volume of construction works has decreased for the engineering constructions and non-residential buildings with 9% and 5.3% respectively", an INS release shows.

In May the indicator has increased compared to the previous month with 23.7% as unadjusted series and with 3.1% as adjusted series. Compared to May 2012 the construction works registered a decrease of 8.9% and 10.7% accordingly. (source: economica.net)
