Construction permits for residential - 2.5% growth in the first two months
The National Institute of Statistics announced a raise of the number of the construction permits for residential projects in Romania to 3,824, with 2.5% growth comparing to the similar period of 2012.
"There are registered growth in Bucharest-Ilfov area (+130 permits), Western Romania (+87 permits), Central Romania (+48 permits) and Southern-Western Oltenia (+17 permits). Permits number decrease was registered in Northern-Eastern Romania (-125 permits), Southern Muntenia (-27 permits), Southern-Eastern Romania (-23 permits) and Northern-Western Romania (-14 permits)", shows a press release of the Institute.
In February 2013 2,130 construction permits were delivered (with 67.3% for the rural area), with 25.7% growth comparing to January and with 6.6% growth comparing to February 2012. (source: wall-street.ro)
