The sold of the loans granted for this sector reached nearly 25 billion lei in the end of the first half of the year, which means financing of 6 billion lei are being underperforming.
The companies active in the above mentioned sector have a share of 23 pct. of the total loans granted to companies, and the Romanian National Bank (BNR) says that the banks “have an important direct exposure over the companies active in the constructions and real estate fields “.
BNR also notices that the rate of the underperforming credits in the constructions and real estate sectors has registered an improvement compared to the end of 2013, namely a reduction of five percentage points. (Source: zf.ro)
