“Romania is and will remain one of the most important countries in Central and Eastern Europe for Huawei. (…) Since our official opening in Romania, things have greatly developed. At the moment, besides Huawei’s headquarters in Romania, we have two other centers here: the Global Service Center (CGS) and the Accounting Shared Services Center (ASSC), centers we develop and in which we invest each year,” Jim Lu, president of CEE & Nordic Region Huawei Technologies, told local Wall-street.ro.

The company plans to reach over 1,000 employees in Romania by 2018, “the biggest advantage of Romania being its technicians, practitioners and professionals that a company can find in its field of activity,” according to Lu.

“The professionals here are trained at European standards from school. This is why we are trying to discover new talents and invest in them,” he added. (source: romania-insider.com)
