Floreasca Park is the seventh construction of Portland Trust in Romania. With its 38,000 sq. m office space, Floreasca Park represents 14.5% from the total 260,000 sq. m developed and leased by the company, starting 1999. The office building is developed in a plot of land of 1.5 ha and will be completed in November 2013. The construction with an investment of EUR 70 million started last summer. The first tenant of the building was Oracle, which has signed for an area of 20,000 sq. m at the beginning of the construction. The Advisors/Knight Frank was the agent of the transactions for the office spaces Floreasca Park. Portland Trust has its headquarters in Prague and was founded in 1997 with the purpose to develop high quality institutional and commercial assets in Central Europe. Robert Neale is the owner and CEO of Portland Trust. In 1999, a part of Portland Trust, including its branches, was bought by Apollo Real Estate Advisors, now AREA Property Partners, with the purpose to extend the business and develop larger projects. AREA actively invested more than EUR 1.2 billion since 1995, in over 100 transactions on the European real estate market.
