Alpha Bank took over Doamna Ghica Plaza
Bucharest residential project Doamna Ghica Plaza in Colentina district, developed by a Slovenian group and local investors was taken over by Alpha Bank. The complex has nine building with more than 600 apartments, of which 400 were not sold since completion, four years ago.
Alpha Bank has financed the project with a loan of EUR 45 million in 2007. The broker Cristian Sima, the banker Dan Pascariu, the playwright Adrian Lustig and the lawyers Călin Andrei Zamfirescu and Stan Târnoveanu have left this project, in which one of the biggest residential towers in Bucharest was built, with 24 floors.
„After a long period of standstill, the project is now released and we expect a restart of sales. The same commercial strategy has been applied to another project financed by the bank (Asmita), and the results overcame the expectations. We estimate that Doamna Ghica Plaza will have the same path“, said Alpha Bank representatives. (source: zf.ro)
