Romania is the most important market where AFI Properties, through its fully owned subsidiary AFI Europe, is currently focusing its development activity. In addition to Romania, AFI Europe operates in seven countries in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and South-East Europe (SEE), including the Czech Republic, Serbia, Germany and Poland.

The total leasable area of the assets of AFI Properties has increased to 492,000 sqm.

The company equity has totalled €524.6 million and its cash reserves have increased to €53 million as of June 30th, 2013.

On the office segment, AFI Europe Romania completed during 2012 AFI Park 1, the first class A office building in AFI Park in Cotroceni, and has successfully leased 97 percent of the building to leading international companies such as Endava, Microchip, Sparkware and Cameron.

Following the success of AFI Park 1, the company has started the construction of AFI Park 2 and AFI Park 3, each with a leasable area of 12,200 sqm. AFI Park 2 will be completed in the first quarter of 2014 and AFI Park 3 in October 2014. (source: europaproperty.com)
